This event is a non-commercial use of National Forest System lands as defined by the regulations at 36 CFR part 251.51

Classic point-to-point courses: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Long Advanced
Map and Course Notes
ISOM map with 5m contours. Scale 1:7500 for Beginner and Intermediate courses. Scale 1:10000 for Advanced and Long Advanced courses. All maps are printed on Legal paper size. Bring your own map case if you wish.
Classic point-to-point courses:
Beginner, 3.0km, 70m climb - Mix of White and Yellow controls.
Intermediate, 4.3km, 90m climb - Mostly Orange level controls.
Advanced, 5.4km, 175m climb.
Long Advanced, 6.4km, 210m climb.
Some ant hills were mapped this year. These objects were mapped with 'Prominent landform feature' symbol (brown triagle).

This event will operate as a non-commercial event and will be limited to a maximum of 70 participants
An adventure pass is required to park in the parking lot. These must be prepurchased. They are not available at the parking lot.
Acceptable passes include Daily Forest Adventure Pass, Annual Forest Adventure Pass, or any National Interagency Recreational Pass. You may order a Daily Forest Adventure Pass ($5) through LAOC when you register.
The following standard LAOC protocols will be in place at this event:
Please pre-register. Attendance is limited by non-commercial regulations. On-site registration will be dependent on space availability.
Assigned start blocks. Registration form asks for your start time preference. Your preference is not guaranteed. The earlier you register, the more likely that you get your preferred start.
Bring your own water and snacks. No water will be placed on the course. We will have water available at the assembly area.
Please take advantage of our online pre-event beginner clinic information. If you need additional training or have questions, let us know when you arrive. On-site training will depend on volunteer availability.
Please do not attend if you are sick.
Registration and Pricing
This event is full. Registration is now closed.
To comply with non-commercial regulations, this event will be free to all participants. Membership in LAOC is NOT required to participate. Registration is required to ensure we don't exceed attendance limits.
We will acquire a Forest Adventure Pass for you ($5) if you order through registration. Passes may not be available on site.
Liability Waiver - Everyone must have a waiver on file. The registration system gives you an opportunity to accept the waiver for yourself or your family members. Minors whose registration is not handled by a parent/guardian must print out the form and bring it with them with a parent/guardian signature.
