Overview
Join us for the NJROTC Area Championships at Santa Fe Dam. There should be some intense competition and a great set of Classic courses by Sergey Biryukov. This will also be a scoring event for the COOL League.

Green (expert) 5.7km 14 controls NJROTC Male Varsity
Red (long expert) 7.2km 18 controls
Blue (longest expert) 9.0km 20 controls
Additional Information
This event is being held in cooperation with the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation under a core program partnership agreement.
This event will be the area 21 championships for NJROTC. Awards will be presented once the results are finalized. This event is also an OUSA NRE. In addition to NJROTC awards, we will provide small awards for the top male and female on each course entered in an OUSA age class.
EMBARGO!
Effective Immediately, Santa Fe Dam Recreational Area is off limits for all schools, cadets, or individuals that will participate in this event.
On the day of the event, until the awards ceremony begins, all participants are required to remain in the parking and assembly areas. Entering embargoed areas may result in disqualification for you, your team, or your entire unit.
NJROTC Units - Please read both the LOI (TBA) and Registration Instructions before filling out your registration forms.
The following standard LAOC protocols will be in place at this event:
Please pre-register. $10 additional fee per person for on-site registration dependent on map availability. No on-site registration for NJROTC Championship entries.
Assigned start times. Registration form asks for your start time preference. Your preference is not guaranteed. The earlier you register, the more likely that you get your preferred start. Members of the same NJROTC unit will be spaced apart from each other in the start list.
There will be one water station on Orange, Brown, Green, Red, and Blue courses.
Please take advantage of our online pre-event beginner clinic information. If you need additional training or have questions, let us know when you arrive. On-site training will depend on volunteer availability.
Please do not attend if you are sick.

NJROTC entry Rosters by School
NJROTC units may make changes to rosters on site if necessary, but may not add any additional entries.

DO NOT REGISTER YOURSELF MORE THAN ONCE. If you make a mistake that needs to be fixed, contact the registrar. If you need to pay after completing the registration process, use the link that is included in your registration confirmation email.
Standard LAOC fees:
Adult $15
Youth (20 and under) $12
Member discount $5
Children under 10 free (one free child per paying adult, additional children at the youth rate)
Additional $2 estick rental if you don't own your own
$10 per person additional for on-site late registration
Prepayment is encouraged and is the only way to pay with a credit card. The online registration system uses Paypal as the payment portal. Only cash or checks are accepted at the event site.
Liability Waiver - Everyone must have a waiver on file. The registration system gives you an opportunity to accept the waiver for yourself or your family members. Minors whose registration is not handled by a parent/guardian must print out the form and bring it with them with a parent/guardian signature.
