The dirt road/trail is washed out near where the wash goes under the highway. The edges of the wash there are now high bluffs. The road is marked on the map as out-of-bounds near there. There is no particular reason to go this way, but if you decide you want to, you can connect from the wash up the stream and then climb out easily from there.

WHITE COURSE:

The White course includes some non-trail legs. Please be careful when controls are visible that you are visiting them in order. In one place the trail gets washed out, but if you look ahead you can see where it continues lined with rocks. At one point, you will need to climb out of a streambed to get up to a nearby trail.

YELLOW COURSE:

Yellow has one leg with a taped route to the next control. At another point, you will need to climb out of a streambed to get up to a nearby trail.

ALL COURSES:

The highway is out-of-bounds. Stay in the terrain and do not walk on the shoulder of the road.

Do not cross to the other side of the highway under the highway bridge. None of the courses go there.
