Mt. Pinos weekend 2026 - Sunday Classic

We had a small contingent of orienteers for this year's Mount Pinos event. For the first time since the pandemic, we had a two day event with group camping at McGill campground. Day 1 was a Trail Orienteering event at the McGill campground with 23 participants and Day 2 was classic point-to-point orienteering at the top of the road with 47 entrants. With Misha away at JWOC, Roland Hansson won the Red course. Green winner was Vladislav Urbanovskiy and Brown winner was Johanna Scott. On Yellow, Team V+V took top honors and Wayne Cottrell was tops on White. The Orange course was too much for the entrants with only dnf results.
